Rescue
Your build has stalled. We get it to working.
From $18,000 fixed. Scoped at triage. Starts with a $4,500 triage.
A project that is late, over budget, or abandoned by the team that started it. A system nobody on your side wants to touch. We start with a week of triage, tell you plainly whether to repair or rebuild, and quote a fixed price for whichever it is.

- The previous agency or freelancer left, and nobody fully understands what they built.
- The project keeps slipping, and every estimate you get is bigger than the last.
- The software runs, but every change breaks something else.
- You need an honest second opinion before putting more money in.
What rescue covers
Triage decides which path applies. You only pay for the one you need.
- Recovery. Keep the existing code where it is sound. Fix what is broken, add the tests and tooling that were missing, and get it to a stable, working release.
- Rebuild. Only when starting again gets you to a working product sooner than untangling what exists. The triage report becomes the specification, and the rebuild runs as a fixed-price Product Build.
- Either way: documented architecture, a deployment your team can run, and the knowledge the last team took with them written down.
It starts with triage
$4,500 fixed. 1 week.
We read the code, run the system, talk to whoever is left who knows it, and review the history of what went wrong. You get a written report with:
- An honest assessment of the codebase: what is sound, what is fragile, what is dangerous.
- A recommendation: repair or rebuild, with the reasons.
- A fixed price and timeline for the recommended path.
The report is yours whether or not you continue with us. If you do, the $4,500 comes off the price.
What happens each week
A working release in staging, each one more stable than the last.
A written update: what was fixed, what was found, what is next.
A 30-minute call to review it and set priorities together.
In a rescue, the first weeks often reveal problems nobody knew about. When that happens we tell you straight away, with a price for dealing with it, and you decide.
What you own at the end
- All code, in your repository.
- All infrastructure and accounts, in your name.
- Full intellectual property rights.
- 30 days of support for questions after handover.
Questions
Will you just tell us to rebuild everything?
No. A rebuild costs more and takes longer, and we recommend it only when the triage shows that repair would cost more still. Most rescues keep most of the code.
What if the previous team will not hand over access?
We have dealt with this before. Triage includes working out what you have, what you are missing, and how to get it back.
Can you take over a project mid-flight, with a deadline already set?
Yes, if the deadline is realistic. Triage will tell you whether it is. If it is not, we would rather say so in week one.
We are not sure we can afford to fix it. Should we still do the triage?
Yes. $4,500 for a clear picture of what you have and what it would cost is the cheapest decision you will make on this project.
Tell us where it went wrong.
Thirty minutes, no judgement. We have seen most versions of this before.
